
Police investigating the death of Teishallia Te Paea are appealing to the public for information as enquiries continue.
Detective Inspector Martin James, Eastern District Manager Criminal Investigations, said officers are seeking to speak with three males who together visited Te Paea’s Kotuku Street address Hastings during August or September 2025.
Investigators are also interested in identifying another individual who arrived at the same address in a dark-coloured van or similar vehicle during that period.
James said the information could assist their ongoing investigation and are urging anyone who may have relevant details to come forward.
Police had earlier described the nature of her death as ‘unique’.
