Police seek witnesses to Wellington incident
Police are seeking witnesses to a serious incident in the Wellington CBD recently.
Shortly after 4am yesterday 25 September a man was located with a stab wound on Courtney Place, near Taranaki Street.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.
The man was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident and anyone who has video footage or images of the incident that can assist our enquiries.

Police appeal for information following aggravated robbery, Michael Hill Te Rapa
Waikato Police are seeking information following an aggravated robbery in Te Rapa late yesterday morning.
At about 11.30am a number of people entered a Michael Hill jewellery store inside The Base Shopping Centre.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has video footage which could help with our enquiries.
Police are following strong lines of enquiry including viewing CCTV footage to establish the damage caused and what was taken.
The community can be assured our staff are working hard to identify the offenders and hold them to account.
‘We acknowledge this type of offending causes concern and harm in our community and it will not be tolerated,’ said Acting Inspector Michael Henwood.

Invercargill Police appeal for information following hit and run, Otatara
Police are appealing for assistance to locate the vehicle involved in a hit and run in Invercargill in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A man was struck by a vehicle around 6:15am on Marama Avenue South in Otatara and remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Police urge anyone travelling in the area at the time of the incident or the driver or occupants of the vehicle involved to contact Police to assist in their enquiries.
Police are providing support to the person’s family.
Anyone who saw what happened or has information on the vehicle involved, or any other information which may help Police, is asked to contact 105 and quote file number 220925/5483.
Man dies following Rotorua crash
Police can confirm that a man has died following a crash in Rotorua on Saturday, 17 September.
The incident occurred at around 2am on Arawa Street, and involved a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian suffered critical injuries as a result.
Sadly he died in Middlemore Hospital on Friday, 23 September.
Police enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Missing Christchurch man located
The 22-year-old man reported missing from his Halswell home earlier today has been located.
He is safe and well.
Missing Hamilton girl located
The 15-year-old girl reported missing from Frankton, Hamilton yesterday has been found.
She is safe and well.

Appeal for witnesses following serious assault, Awatoto, Napier
Hawke’s Bay Police are appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed an assault on SH 51, Awatoto in the early hours of this morning.
A good Samaritan, who stopped their vehicle for a woman being chased by a man following a family harm incident, was assaulted around 4:30am.
The victim sustained serious facial and head injuries and remains in hospital.
Police are seeking any witnesses to this event or motorists in the area at the time who have not already come forward, to contact Police.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested and it due to appear in Hastings District Court tomorrow on a charge of assault.
