Name release – Fatal crash, Rangiora Leithfield Road, Sefton
Police can now release the name of the person who died in a crash on Rangiora Leithfield Road on 31 December.
He was 15-year-old Kaide Hancox Bailey, of Rangiora.
The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
Fatal crash, Hastings district
A man has died following a crash in Haumoana, Hastings, yesterday afternoon.
About 5pm, emergency services received reports of a single vehicle crash at Black Bridge on Mill Rd.
The sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene.
The bridge and road are expected to reopen in the next few hours.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash are ongoing.
