Update: Serious crash, State Highway 3, Patea
One person has died following a crash on State Highway 3 (Patea Road) yesterday afternoon.
The crash, involving a truck and two cars, was reported to Police at 1.25pm.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is underway.
Fatal crash – Tuakau
Police can confirm a child has died following a serious crash in Tuakau yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services responded to reports of the crash, involving a vehicle and a child on a driveway on Martindale Lane, around 12.25pm.
Sadly, the child died at the scene.
‘Our thoughts are with their loved ones at this difficult time,’ said police in a statement.
Enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.
Missing man found, Devonport
The man initially reported missing in the Devonport area has been located safe and well.
Police would like to thank the public for their assistance.
