King Charles has formally stripped his younger brother, Prince Andrew, of his royal titles and honours, ordering him to vacate his longtime residence, Royal Lodge, due to his associations with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Buckingham Palace confirmed that Andrew will now be known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and has been served notice to surrender the lease on the property, moving instead to private accommodation in eastern England.
While Andrew maintains his innocence, the Palace said the move was necessary, with the King supported by other senior royals, including heir Prince William.
The decision follows recent scrutiny of Andrew’s finances and mounting public and parliamentary pressure over his continued royal privileges.

The King has the power to dissolve parliament and call for new elections. Not only that but in order for legislation to become a law, the king must sign it.
I thought there were weekly meetings between King and PM to discuss such matters the public are unanimously against. Things like boat people entering the UK, digital id, cashless society and restrictions on what you buy how much and when.
I am not ruling out blackmail with Prince Andew and perhaps others. Maybe removing Andew will give the royal family some control over what government legislation becomes law.
