Emergency services swarmed Auckland Airport late Friday morning after reports of a fire on a Qantas flight arriving from Sydney.
The plane landed safely before noon, with ambulances and 16 fire trucks on standby.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand confirmed it was alerted at 11.05am, while ambulance staff treated two patients for minor conditions, neither requiring hospitalisation.
By midday normal operations had resumed, though some flights may experience slight delays.
