The search for an 83-year-old man missing in Onerahi, Northland, has been suspended for the day.
The search team, including Police, LandSAR Northland, local surf life-saving squads, and Northland Coastguard, will resume efforts at first light tomorrow, with LandSAR Far North joining the operation.
The man, who regularly swims in the Whangārei Harbour wearing a wetsuit and pink swim cap, has been missing since Saturday evening, and was reported missing on Monday.
Authorities urge anyone with information to contact them using reference number 241021/1742.
