The search for a man missing in Auckland’s Manukau Harbour after a boat sank near Puketutu Island on Tuesday evening, will resume today with efforts from the air, sea, and land.
The incident occurred when two people aboard the vessel got into difficulty; one swam to shore and alerted authorities, but the other remains unaccounted for.
Despite extensive efforts, including the involvement of police, Coastguard, and rescue helicopters, the search was suspended Tuesday night due to darkness and challenging conditions.
