Senior public servant replaced after historic cocaine admission

A senior public servant was quietly replaced as acting chief executive of a government agency after an investigation revealed she had admitted to trying cocaine once several years before entering the public sector.

According to state-funded media, the allegations surfaced through an anonymous email sent last year, prompting an internal inquiry that reportedly found no evidence of an alleged historic photograph circulating online, but confirmed the executive had disclosed past drug experimentation.

Despite initially being announced as interim chief executive following the former boss’s departure, she was later removed from the role without explanation, with both the Public Service Commission and the agency refusing to say whether the admission affected the appointment decision.

  3. Ridiculous witch hunt. What a sad and most likely jealous individual the nark must be.

Are they happy now? Got one back on someone from something years past, the only victim of the act being the now ex public servant.

    Tall poppy syndrome at play.
