SFO alleges bribery and corruption of public official over lucrative construction contracts

Auckland bribery and corruption news

The Serious Fraud Office has filed charges against a former project manager and two associates alleging bribery and corruption were involved in the award of lucrative public sector construction contracts.

The three people face charges including corruption of an official, corrupt use of official information and obtaining by deception.

A hearing was held in Auckland District Court today and interim name suppression granted to the three defendants. A name suppression application will be heard on 15 February.

The SFO alleges the first defendant abused their position as a public official while employed at what was then Regional Facilities Auckland (RFA) and later at the then Counties Manukau District Health Board (CMDHB).

They are alleged to have taken advantage of official information they were entrusted with to facilitate the awarding of contracts to companies they and the remaining defendants were associated with.

It is alleged that the three defendants had personal relationships which they disguised from the public bodies and that the first defendant benefited personally including through receiving bribes.

In total, the two companies are alleged to have received approximately $3.5 million in public funds.

The SFO would like to acknowledge RFA (now part of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited) for bringing this matter to the SFO’s attention following their own internal investigation, and both RFA and CMDHB (now Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau) for their assistance.

  1. Didn’t see that coming //s. The SFO may find itself busy in times to come. You wouldn’t have to dig too deep.

    Thier names please?

  2. SFO ought to investigate corruption and bribery on following entities:
We want open and public investigations into the mRNA syndicate and no white-wash BS.
Follow the money and new employment and positions of the criminals.
    We want accountability and consequences.
    We want ‘heads to roll’.
    We want especially following persons investigated in their role in the “Covid Mafia’;
Following Clark’s resignation, Prime Minister Ardern appointed Chris Hipkins as interim Health Minister. We want both, Jabcina and Hippi investigated.Where do the millions come from which these criminals are nuw worth?
Associate Health and Whānau Ora Minister Peeni Henare.
Health Minister Andrew Little should not walk free anymore.
Auckland University of Technology (AUT) professor and Waitematā District Health Board chair Judy McGregor needs to be looked at.
Investigate the members of the interim boards of Health New Zealand and the Māori Health, especially chair Rob Campbell and co-chairs Sharon Shea and Tipa Mahuta.
New Zealand Medical Association chair Dr Alistair Humphrey is another agent of the bio-weapon.
Same with Associate Health Minister Dr Ayesha Verrall, Health Director-General Ashley Bloomfield, all district health board functionary minions, the scumbag Speaker of the House Trevor Mallard, who turned on the sprinklers, all agents of Health New Zrealand, the Public Health Agency led by Dr. Andrew Old, ALL senior staff at MedSafe NZ. And there are many more.
ALL above have knowingly led the people of New Zealand into ‘vaccine’ mandates, lock-downs, ruined lives. KNOWINGLY!!!
If a full investigation, arrests and convictions are not proceeding, New Zealand will never heal.
WE THE PEOPLE will NEVER forget these b******ds!
Hell hath no fury like mothers scorned!
