A Year 9 student from a Christchurch school has been excluded and is facing seven criminal charges, including assault and possession of an offensive weapon, after attacking two teachers with scissors.

The incident occurred in the primary section of the school, resulting in injuries to one teacher’s hand and another’s head, though neither required hospitalisation.

Following a disciplinary hearing, the school board decided to exclude the student.

Under New Zealand law, the boy, being under 16, must attend another school. He is set to appear in the Youth Court next month.

Yes, I’m old and grumpy. Get off my lawn.

  1. The ‘school’ is a Maori separatist indoctrination centre where English appears to be a second language

Judging by their home page, attacking people with scissors would seem to be the kind of ‘warrior’ behaviour which is highly valued there – so it’s a surprise that this little (probably not so little) future gang member was frowned upon. Maybe he was from another tribe as the chief.

No sex was given, but it was probably a penis person, but you never know nowadays.
