President Donald Trump boarded Air Force One quickly using the smaller stairs on Sunday (local time) due to increased security measures at Palm Beach International Airport, following the discovery of a suspected hunting stand with a clear view of the presidential aircraft.
The Secret Service found the elevated structure during advance security checks and reported no individuals at the scene.
The FBI has taken over the investigation, deploying forensic and digital teams to analyze evidence.
Officials stressed there was no disruption to Trump’s movements, though the discovery comes weeks after a man was convicted of attempting to assassinate Trump from a sniper’s nest near his Palm Beach golf course.
