74 year old Forsyth was sentenced to 2 years and 6 months jail for sexual conduct on a child under 12 and indecent assault.

In a separate incident he took the man’s hand and tried to get him to touch his own private parts. In 2006 Forsyth began a sustained period of sexual offending against the first victim’s son, which continued for four years.
