A 23-year-old man from Papakura is set to appear in the Manukau District Court on October 23. Narran was found with life-threatening injuries near the Hampton Downs Racetrack just after midnight on October 14 and later died at Auckland Hospital.
Police have not ruled out the possibility of further arrests as the investigation into the fatal assault continues.
