Toddler killed in Te Kamo driveway incident named

Police have released the name of the three-year-old boy who tragically died in a driveway incident in Te Kamo on Sunday.

He was Reign Puriri.

The accident occurred at a Church Road address when the child was struck by a moving vehicle.

Detective Senior Sergeant Shane Pilmer expressed condolences to Reign’s family, who are now preparing for his funeral. The family has requested privacy as they grieve.

Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the incident.
