Tour bus crash near Buffalo U.S. leaves multiple dead

A tour bus carrying about 50 passengers from Niagara Falls to New York City overturned on Interstate 90 near Pembroke, New York, on Friday, killing multiple people, including children, and injuring many others.

New York State Police said the vehicle veered off the road for unknown reasons, with some passengers trapped inside and others thrown from the wreckage.

Emergency crews remain at the scene conducting extensive rescue operations, while Governor Kathy Hochul called the crash “tragic” and praised first responders for their efforts.

Both directions of the New York State Thruway near the crash site have been closed as recovery work continues.

    Covid related????
We stay out of tour busses, commercial aircraft, and cruise ships where the Captains and Drivers might be vaccinated, and are still working despite being ticking time-bombs.

“Multiple” can mean ‘several’, ‘numerous’, or ‘many’, which are different. Which is it? It seems that journalists have expunged all three from the lexicon in favour of the meaningless “multiple”
