Moncarz is accused of 8 charges in relation to one girl aged under 12. He was the principal of the private Deep Green Bush School in South Auckland, which has since closed down. Two recordings of police interviews with the complainant were played in court today. ‘He did it. I did not like it. I was trying to get away from him. I was pushing him away. I kept pushing him away and he kept pulling me back.’ The complainant appeared via audio visual link to answer questions from Moncarz’s lawyer, where she was questioned about her mother’s dislike of Moncarz. She ‘sometimes’ enjoyed his company, and denied her mother ever called him a ‘child molester’ in front of her.
