Trump confident Gaza hostages will be freed soon

US President Donald Trump says he expects hostages held by Hamas to be released “very soon” as mediators prepare to meet in Egypt for crucial indirect peace talks between Israel and Hamas.

The talks follow Hamas’ partial acceptance of a 20-point US peace plan that includes releasing hostages and transferring Gaza’s administration to Palestinian technocrats, though the group avoided commitments on disarmament or future governance.

Trump said negotiations were “going very well” and described the proposal as beneficial for Israel and the wider region.

However, Israeli strikes continued over the weekend despite Trump’s earlier call for an immediate halt to bombing, with Israel maintaining there is no ceasefire and claiming its operations “are defensive”.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he hopes to announce hostage releases “in the coming days,” while US Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasised that bombardments must stop to enable the process.

The 20-point plan calls for an end to fighting and the release of 48 hostages—only 20 believed alive—in exchange for hundreds of detained Gazans.

Mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey are credited with softening Hamas’ stance to enter negotiations, but the group’s flexibility is seen by some Palestinians as a risky move given its weakened position after nearly two years of war.

Trump warned that if Hamas insists on retaining power in Gaza, it faces “complete obliteration.” The high-stakes talks beginning Monday could mark a turning point in a conflict that has left over 67,000 Gazans dead since October 2023, according to Palestinian health authorities.

  1. Trump continues to offer delusional false hope not only to his ‘MAGA / MIGA Supporters, but also to himself.
He may WANT and WISH to do what might be just and proper, but Israel, AIPAC and Nutanyahu (Mielkowski) will always force a change of mind.
Imagine what would happen if the Bank of Russia offered to take over Trump’s debt with a lower interest rate on the Trump properties as opposed to the Zionist J3wi$h Banksters; things globally / internationally would change for the better, as opposed to Trump being covertly blackmained with a threatened rise in interest rates on his loans with the current Zionist leinholders and Bankster lenders…!
After all, the Mossad attacked their own under the Samson Option on 6 October, and has the Esther Option ready to activate in the U.S..
The Mossad leads the world in assassinations, and here is the conclusive proof that the Mossad and CIA did 9/11, with the deflective actions of the well-proven criminal FBI!
(NOTE- The FBI is fully operational in NZ, thus violating our National Sovereignty!!! Judith!!!)
