Donald Trump has fired back at former first lady Michelle Obama after she criticised his decision to tear down the White House’s East Wing, calling the old setup “a disaster” and insisting the new ballroom will be “one of the greatest anywhere in the world.”
In an interview with Laura Ingraham on Fox News, the president said the $250–$300 million privately funded project will finally give the White House a proper venue for large state events, something he claims it has long lacked. “If it rained, you were sitting in six inches of water. It was a disaster,” Trump said of previous outdoor functions that relied on temporary tents.
Obama recently slammed the project, arguing the demolition “denigrates” the traditional role of the first lady and erases an important symbol of public service. “The East Wing is the heart of the work of a first lady,” she said, warning that tearing it down sends the wrong message about the office’s significance.
Trump dismissed the criticism, noting that the East Wing has been altered “20 times” before and saying his design will respect the White House’s classical architecture while adding a 90,000-square-foot ballroom—something he believes the residence “should have had from the beginning.” Despite backlash from Democrats and historians, the renovation continues, entirely financed by private donors.
Its to be called the “Epstein Room”

Mohamed used carpet salesman’s wife was eight
England’s Richard 11’s wife Isabella Valois was just six
Although the marriage was not consummated then
In actual fact a little light research reveals Isabella was only 10 when Richards was killed in 1400
So the marriage may never have been consummated
