Updated: Five confirmed dead after boat reportedly collides with whale near Kaikoura

Goose Bay news

A charter boat has reportedly capsized following a collision with a while in Goose Bay, south of Kaikoura this morning.

Five people are confirmed dead, and six have been rescued.

Conditions were described as calm, and the sea ‘flat’.
