Two more arrests have been made by police in relation to the investigation into the murder of Malachi Subecz.
Five year old Malachi died in Starship Hospital earlier this month after suffering serious non-accidental injuries at a residential address in Te Puna, Bay of Plenty.
A 27-year-old Te Puna woman has been charged with willfully ill-treating a child, and a 37 year old Tauranga woman has been charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The investigation is ongoing and police would like to speak with anyone who saw or had interaction with Malachi in the two months prior to his death.
