The UK government is preparing to roll out digital driving licences later this year, storing them in the GOV.UK Wallet alongside other official documents, a move presented as a step toward ‘modernising public services’ but one that is already prompting questions from motorists.
While ministers say the digital licence will offer ‘convenience’ and ‘easier access to information’ such as MOT reminders and vehicle tax, drivers are being warned that incorrect or outdated personal details could result in fines of up to £1,000 under existing DVLA rules.
Critics note that shifting licences onto smartphones may create new risks, from technical failures and data accuracy issues to practical problems for people who do not regularly use digital devices or prefer physical documents.
An online petition against digital licences and ID has garnered almost 3 million signatures.
“We think this would be a step towards mass surveillance and digital control, and that no one should be forced to register with a state-controlled ID system. We oppose the creation of any national ID system”, the petition organisers said.
“ID cards were scrapped in 2010, in our view for good reason.”

Commissar Starmer using 1984 as his playbook.
I do not now, nor will I ever comply with the globalist angenda.
Resist
Defy
Do NOT comply
3 million signatures
But will anybody listen?
Not by the look of it
Starmer and His cronies are traitors
There’s no other way to look at it
It will be interesting to see in which direction our band of dismal lack luster politicians will take us
Who no doubt will be watching the outcome of what happens in the UK with trepidation
Most probably we will get sold out just like with covid
And don’t get me going on Christchurch
Proven conclusively beyond any doubt to be a completely fake and fraudulent fabricated event
Now tell me we’re living in a democracy?
Which is a pipe dream and figment of the imagination
An official narrative to fill your mind when there’s no real evidence
Backed up with the threat of jail time for watching a fake video deemed offensive in a vain attempt to validate the authenticity of such
After this ongoing debacle at ‘Manage My Health’ most people will sit up and pay attention
Names addresses passwords DOB +
Its not V2 science
Sounds like the UK police won’t be seeing any convenience.
If enough of the populace don’t take up the digital license but continue to drive it will be a massive headache.
Do you feel lucky Starmer?
If enough of the populace don’t take up the digital DNA sampling via the new kidnapping road-side drug and alcohol tests, the whole system will be boged down. Do not consent to a road-side intrusion in your body. They will prevent you from driving your peaceful way, home, so pre-arrange for a friend to pick you up at any time (vice-versa). Fight any fines/charges in court. The jewdicial constructs (courts) are already stretched to the limit and more civil disobedience will be overwhelming. There will be a flood of drivers contesting this road-side terror and you will be in good company. It is mandatory in a democracy to stand up against government terror.
And trerror and DNA sampling it is, because there are many other methods to test drivers’ possible impairment.
This is why one drives a 20+ year old car- ‘they’ cannot use Bluetooth, WiFi & %G to turn off your engine when driving or, worse still, take over the ‘electric steering’ (similar to fly-by wire aircraft) and crash you into a tree if they want to assassinate you!
DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR THAT IS AFTER THE 2008 MODEL YEAR, AS FROM 2009 ONWARD ELECTRONIC TRASH DESIGNED TO CONTROL WHERE YOU GO, SPY ON YOU AND HIJACK YOUR VEHICLE IS BLATANTLY INSTALLED!
Just had my 1966 Ford Falcon re-built, re-engined and equipped with a 6-speed MANUAL transmission. Good for another 60+ years!!! I THEREFORE CONTROL THE CAR, & NOT THE MOSSAD, CIA, SIS, GCSB, GCHQ, MI-6 THRU HIJACKED ELECTRONIC SIGNALS!
👍👍👍
UK is a Fascist state, this is just the next step in its march towards authoritarianism, under the Starmer led regime.
All these moves towards authoritarianism will not end well
