Police continue to make enquiries following a serious assault in Māngere yesterday.
One person was transported to hospital in critical condition after Police were called to Massey Road around 12.10am.
The victim remains in hospital, in stable but critical condition.
“Police can confirm that this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing public safety concerns”, said Detective Senior Sergeant Kevin Tiernan.
“No arrests have yet been made but Police are continuing to follow positive lines of enquiry.”
