Victims advisor condemns systemic failures after Christchurch murder

Chief victims advisor Ruth Money says the justice system failed to prevent the murder of a Christchurch woman by violent repeat offender Nathan Boulter, arguing New Zealand lacks the expertise, training and legislative tools to manage obsessive, high-risk, manipulative criminals.

Boulter—who had a long history of stalking and brutal assaults—pleaded guilty to stabbing the woman 55 times after weeks of harassment.

Speaking to state-funded media, Money cited repeated systemic failings similar to the Tainui, Robertson and Brider cases, saying victims should never feel responsible for predicting offenders’ behaviour.

She also questioned why Corrections allowed Boulter to remain at the victim’s home and why past victims were not fully informed of his release.

Both said the tragedy was foreseeable and preventable, urging urgent reforms, specialised oversight teams, improved monitoring powers and stronger victim-notification rules to stop similar cases.

  1. Rights of the criminal outweigh the rights of the victim. Simple as.

Left-wing “values” (aka the 7 deadly sins), have corrupted everything about western democracies and turned it all upside down to the point where we now have an actual INJUSTICE system.

Or more succinctly put; everything woke turns to sh!t.

There’s only one thing needed to correct it (🥜) but they seem to be in short supply on these two islands of ours.
