The assets of convicted meth dealer Blaine Weir have been forfeited to the Crown.
Two orders under the Criminal Proceeds (Recovery) Act were made this year in respect of the 44 year old’s assets:
- On 18 March 2021, an Order for five vehicles, two Ducati motorcycles and $144,640 in cash
- On 13 October 2021, an Order for a 9.8 hectare property on Earle Road, Te Awamutu
More than $1 million was forfeited as part of the prosecution.
