Waikato police seek sightings of Black Ford Territory in connection with Hamilton homicide

Waikato Police have launched a homicide investigation following a fatal incident on Beatty Street, Melville, in the early hours of the morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 4:30 am, where a 26-year-old man was found deceased. Another man was transported to Waikato Hospital in critical condition.

Police are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident and are seeking to locate a third man who was present at the scene.

As part of their investigation, investigators are asking for information on a black Ford Territory with registration DBN472. The vehicle was last seen being driven by a man police wish to speak with in connection to the case.

Anyone who sees the vehicle is urged to call 111 immediately, quoting reference number 250315/0371.

Police are also asking for any witnesses or those with CCTV or footage from the area to come forward by contacting 105 with relevant information.
