Huge crowds of protesters are gathering in Canberra, as more freedom truckers arrive.
Protesters are prepared for the long haul, with catering and makeshift accomodation facilities are erected.
Tensions rose yesterday when heavily equipped police arrived and tried to move part of the camp on and an elderly man was pepper sprayed. That operation evenutally cleared about a quarter of the camp, but today the crowds kept on arriving in droves. There are no incidents of police clashes reported today so far.
An First Nation aboriginal protest is also taking place at the nearby Old Parliament Building.
