The vehicle was travelling north when the combustion was captured on video by another road user.
Emergency services attended the fire last night at around 11.30pm when reports came in of a car burning on the bridge. It was later reported to be a Tesla.
No one was injured in the blaze. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
