The White House has launched a fierce attack on the BBC, accusing it of deliberate dishonesty in its portrayal of the 2021 Capitol riots.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt branded the broadcaster a “Leftist propaganda machine” and “100% fake news,” claiming its recent Panorama episode spliced together segments of Donald Trump’s speech to make it appear as though he directly incited the violence.
According to The Telegraph (UK), the BBC’s edit combined remarks delivered nearly an hour apart, misleading viewers about the sequence of events. Leavitt said the footage was “purposefully manipulated” and “not worthy of British screens,” arguing that UK taxpayers were being forced to “fund political bias.”
In response, a BBC spokesperson said the network takes feedback seriously and adheres to strict editorial standards, though it declined to comment on the specific allegations.
For decades the UK citizens have been complaining about. Paying a TV licence to fund BBC propaganda. The people just aren’t turning any more.
The only reason why the BBC hasn’t switched to a digital pay service is because this will reveal how truly low the number of viewers are.
