A woman has been arrested Friday in connection with the shooting incident at Brooklyn’s Pukehinau Flats last Sunday.
The 34-year-old woman was arrested in Palmerston North. She is due to appear in Palmerston North District Court today on charges of aggravated robbery, and committing a dangerous act with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
“Another person of interest has also been identified, and we cannot rule out further charges in relation to this matter”, said Detective Jocelyn Bell.
“We hope today’s arrest will come as a relief to the Brooklyn and Te Aro communities, which we know have been shaken by this incident.
“Enquiries are ongoing, and further updates will be shared proactively.”
