Wreckage found as conflicting accounts emerge over US rescue operation

Verified footage and images circulating online appear to show smouldering aircraft wreckage in a mountainous region of central Iran, with analysis of terrain features confirming the site lies about 50km southeast of Isfahan.

The visual evidence, matched against 3D satellite imagery, indicates multiple aircraft were destroyed in the remote area following what is believed to have been a US military operation.

Iran’s military claims two US C-130 transport aircraft and two Black Hawk helicopters were destroyed during a rescue mission launched after a downed US F-15E, alleging the operation — described as a deception and escape attempt at an abandoned airfield in southern Isfahan — was fully thwarted.

However, US officials cited by legacy media outlet CBS News present a different account, stating two transport planes involved in the मिशन were deliberately destroyed after they were unable to take off from a remote location, in order to prevent them from falling into Iranian hands.

  1. Compare this to the April 1980 fiasco known as ‘Operation Eagle Claw’…
    Here was the initial plan…

Nothing has been learned since Vietnam…!
& BTW- the Reagan Administration paid a ransom of what is still an undisclosed amount of money to the Iranians and bought the freedom of the hostages…and the money was transferred on Reagan’s first day in office!

  2. Why would you abandon the planes unless the crew were killed….? As to who has the pilot, well lets see if Iran can provide some images of his capture….

  3. When propaganda media enable governments to compulsively and repeatedly lie,…… well, I would just deduce for myself what the truth might be….

Fact 1 – crew of two missing after plane shot down over Iran on the very same day that several top US generals resign
Fact 2 – Major General William Green was Army Chief of Chaplains – was one of the the ousted generals

Why on earth would the Chief Chaplain resign at this point in time? When he is needed most? I would guess that the white house prevented the Army Chaplains from condoling the families of the dead or missing American crew and also several hundred other American military. The white house would simply say it’s all classified, and embark on a disinformation campaign enabled by the usual propaganda media

    • They killed 165 little girls, you can’t set the moral bar any lower than that…..so not so hard to believe….

  4. Two C130’s were damaged in the operation landing, inoperable, so left behind and destroyed by the U.S.
Two MH-6M helicopters, used in the operation sustained fighting damage, also left behind and destroyed by the U.S.
Three other C130s were undamaged and completed the evalcuation.
Estimated some 50 air crew, and fighters took part in this operation.
All this with only 4 aircraft lost, without a single casuality.
All this to rescue ONE aviator.
