American Samoa Governor Pulaa‘lī Nikolaao Pula has extended warm Thanksgiving greetings to the territory, calling on residents to reflect on their blessings, support one another, and uphold the spirit of alofa and service to the community.
In his official Thanksgiving message, delivered in English and Samoan, the governor expressed heartfelt appreciation to the people of American Samoa and highlighted the importance of family, faith, and collective strength.

He praised families, both near and far, whose love and unity form the foundation of American Samoa’s communities, and thanked government workers, the armed forces, village leaders, churches, and families for their dedication and humility.
The governor urged residents to uplift those in need and continue strengthening the spirit of service and compassion across the territory.
He also conveyed gratitude on behalf of Lt. Governor Pulumaatala Ae Ae Jr. and the entire American Samoa Government, wishing all residents a “blessed, peaceful, and joyful Thanksgiving.” Pula concluded his message by asking for God’s continued protection over the territory and blessings upon every family during the holiday season.
