A 1979 document titled Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars is drawing renewed attention after physician and commentator Doc Malik examined its claims in a recent Substack article, describing it as a blueprint for social control through economics, information and technology rather than conventional warfare.
The document was allegedly found inside surplus equipment linked to Boeing and outlines theories that advanced mathematical modelling, surveillance, education systems, currency control and behavioural data could be used to influence populations and create what it calls a “quiet war” against society.
Malik highlighted passages describing economics as a mechanism of power, public consent as a control tool, and emerging technologies as instruments capable of predicting and shaping human behaviour.
He noted that although the authenticity of the document remains disputed and unverified, its themes have continued to resonate in debates around digital surveillance, artificial intelligence, financial systems and modern governance, particularly as concerns grow over data harvesting, algorithmic influence and the role of institutions in shaping public life.
