‘Playing with our free speech’: Author of anti-Biden rap ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ CENSORED by YouTube

One can’t find Bryson Gray’s ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ on YouTube or Instagram, but the rap track using the meme phrase to criticize US President Joe Biden has surged past Adele’s new single to become the most popular on iTunes.

“I don’t even curse, and I’m the most censored rapper in the world. How is that possible?” Gray told RT on Monday, commenting on the fact that YouTube deleted his song. The Google-owned video platform claims his lyrics contain “medical misinformation” about the coronavirus pandemic. Gray calls it censorship.

If you can ban art, you can ban anything.

Featuring Tyson James and Chandler Crump, Gray’s rap takes aim at Biden’s handling of the economy, the pandemic and the withdrawal from Afghanistan, among other things. The Democrat’s approval ratings are currently in freefall.

Unlike many rap songs, ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ isn’t expletive-laden. The title comes from a meme, created in early October when a NBC sports reporter tried to spin the fact that the crowd at a NASCAR race was chanting “F**k Joe Biden” instead. Since then, it has spread as an expletive-free way to criticize the sitting president – and avoid censorship. Until now, that is.

“They’re playing with our free speech; nobody’s messing with them, they’re messing with us,” Gray told RT. He described the behavior of the Biden administration as “nothing more similar to a dictatorship.” Pointing to an example, he said the current government is “trying to segregate vaccinated and unvaccinated,” saying it was “like Jim Crow 2.0,” a reference to racial segregation laws in the US during the early 20th century.

YouTube banned Gray’s track on October 21, saying one of the lyrics contained “medical misinformation” about the coronavirus. They gave him a second “strike” soon thereafter, but said they would respond to his appeal. Facebook-owned Instagram deleted the music video as well.

On Twitter, Gray’s official page is still up as of the time of writing – but one can no longer get his name suggested by the network’s search, even when “CCG BRYSON” or “@RealBrysonGray” is copy-pasted there.

The censorship seems to have backfired, however, as ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ shot to the top of iTunes charts over the weekend, overtaking Adele’s ‘Easy On Me.’

“We did it!” Gray tweeted on Sunday. “Stop being afraid of censorship. Stop being afraid to be canceled. STAND UP. Thank y’all so much! KEEP IT GOING!”

Interestingly enough, Google searches for “iTunes charts” kept returning previews that started at second place, as if first place did not exist.

There are currently three ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ songs in the US top 10, Gray pointed out – one at number three and the other at number 10 – but only his has been banned. It’s the only one featuring no profanity.

“Why is the most censored rapper in the country someone that doesn’t even curse in songs?” Gray told Fox News over the weekend. “Why can you rap about murder, sex, and drugs but when I rap about questioning the government I get banned? Is this still America?”

‘Wild $T1mes!’: Musk rejoices as Tesla’s value surpasses $1 Trillion following hertz’s 100,000 car order

0

Earlier on Monday, Hertz announced that it would buy 100,000 Tesla Model 3 sedans by the end of 2022, as part of its effort to offer the largest electric vehicle fleet in North America.

The company also noted that vehicle charging infrastructure would be erected at its global locations.

In a rare occurrence, Tesla (TSLA) hit and surpassed a $1 trillion market cap on Monday. The jump came shortly after Bloomberg reported that Hertz had inked a deal for Tesla to manufacture and deliver 100,000 electric vehicles to its locations in 150 countries by the end of 2022.

Shares of the stock shot up to around $1,045 per share during mid-day, setting a new record high for the California-based electric vehicle and clean energy company. TSLA stock was valued at around $1,024 per share when markets closed on Monday.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted his celebration of the milestone ahead of the 4 p.m. ET close, with the blunt: “Wild $T1mes!”

Hertz announced on Monday that its order came as an effort to meet a growing demand in the US for environmentally-friendly, tech-forward automobiles. The deal has been valued at some $4.2 billion in revenue for Tesla, and is regarded as the largest purchase of electric vehicles to date.

“Electric vehicles are now mainstream, and we’ve only just begun to see rising global demand and interest,” said Hertz interim CEO Mark Fields in a quoted statement.

The company highlighted Pew research that suggested around 39% of US consumers would consider an electric vehicle for their next purchase.

The survey, which polled 912 US adults born after 1996 (the so-called Generation Z), also reported that 46% of respondents were not too likely, or lacked interest in purchasing an electric vehicle.

As of 2020, over 1.8 million electric vehicles had been registered in the US, according to International Energy Agency data.

“The new Hertz is going to lead the way as a mobility company, starting with the largest EV rental fleet in North America and a commitment to grow our EV fleet and provide the best rental and recharging experience for leisure and business customers around the world,” Fields added.

Beginning early next month, the first Hertz rental batch of Tesla Model 3 sedans will be available in major US and European markets.

Zinedine Zidane not interested in Manchester United job

0

Former Real Madrid manager and footballing superstar, Zinedine Zidane, will not seek to join Manchester United if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is sacked.

According to reports from ESPN, Zidane will not seek the United job, if it becomes available. He is reported to be enjoying time away from managing and recharging his batteries for his next endeavor.

Because of his unique history, Zidane has been hailed as the right man for the United job. Before proving himself as a manager at Real Madrid he was a world-class player. The pressure under any United manager is intense, but it pales in comparison to managing Real Madrid.

Zidane’s two stints at Real Madrid as manager were nearly as successful as his career as a player. In his first run in charge of Real, Zidane won three consecutive Champions Leagues, from 2016 to 2018, a feat that hadn’t been done since Bayern Munich pulled it off between 1974 and 1976, and La Liga in 2016-17. Zidane stepped down following the 2018 season but was lured back to Madrid in 2019. He would go on to win another La Liga before stepping down again in May of 2021.

With Zidane out of the running, there are rumors that Manchester United will target Antonio Conte to spearhead a title challenge. Conte has an impressive managerial record and has experience turning around high-profile clubs that have hit hard times.

Conte took charge of Juventus after that club finished seventh in the league in consecutive seasons. His first season saw immediate returns, and he led Juventus to an undefeated season and the Serie A title. It was the first time Juventus had won the Italian league since 2002-03, and it kicked off a run of nine consecutive scudettos for the club, which would be broken by a Conte-managed squad.

Making Conte more enticing to United is that he has Premier League experience. He took over a Chelsea side that had imploded under Jose Mourinho, finishing 10th in the league. In his first season, he won the league and then followed it up with an FA Cup in 2017-18. While his time in England was brief, he’s not the first great manager to have a short, yet successful stint at Chelsea.

Conte was once again drawn back to Italy, this time to resurrect Inter Milan. Inter had been poor in the years following their treble under Jose Mourinho. The best league finish the club had managed were a few fourth-place forays. As soon as Conte took over, however, Inter were title challengers. In his first season, Inter finished second, one point behind Juventus, and in his second season, he won the league by 12 points and ended the dominance that he had started at Juventus.

Zidane may not want the Manchester United job, but if Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is to be sacked, Antonio Conte has the exact type of track record that United should target.

Warning Disturbing Footage: Jamaican Pastor accused of human sacrifices dies in car crash en route to court

WARNING DISTURBING FOOTAGE

Kevin Smith, a self-proclaimed religious prophet, and 41 members of the St. James Pathways International Kingdom Restoration Ministries were arrested last week after the deaths of two people who attended what was later described as a “Roman Catholic sacrifice.” Smith, accused of running a cult, was detained during a service in Montego Bay.

Jamaican authorities confirmed on Monday that Smith, set to be formally charged for his alleged role in the murders of at least two congregation members, was killed earlier that day in a car crash while officers transported him from a Montego Bay facility to a court in Kingston.

Bystander footage uploaded to social media showed a number of onlookers watching as emergency responders attempted to rescue those trapped in the car.

It was ultimately confirmed that Smith and Constable Oshane Irons, of the Montego Bay Fugitive Apprehension Team, both died from injuries sustained in the crash. Two other officers were pulled from the vehicle and transported to a nearby medical facility.

“They were taking him to Kingston to be formally charged; there was an accident and all four people in the vehicle received serious injuries,” Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, head of the force’s communication unit, told the Daily Beast on Monday. “Two died, a police constable and Mr. Smith and the other two police officers are in critical condition.”

As of this article’s publication, the two surviving officers remain in the hospital.

Earlier this month, Jamaican authorities swooped down on Smith’s church, where they found him and dozens of members from his congregation donning white robes.

It had been said that church attendees had been instructed by Smith – a self-proclaimed “Prophet to the Nations” – to wrap their phones in aluminum foil and leave them at home for the service. Members of the congregation also fasted in the days leading up to the white robe event.

Local reports detailed that police stormed church grounds after it was reported that office worker Tanecka Gardner, 39, and another individual had been killed. Gardner was reported to have died after her neck was slashed.

“Even recently, she has been stocking up on kerosene oil and cooking oil. She told me that the pastor said that they must buy brown rice because something is going to happen,” an unnamed woman told the Jamaica Observer West last week, speaking of Gardner in her final days.

‘Let’s Go Brandon’: Thousands of workers in NYC protest vaccine mandate

0

Police officers, firefighters and other employees for the New York City municipal government have gathered in the thousands to protest a vaccine mandate for the novel coronavirus and temporarily blocked Manhattan-bound traffic on the Brooklyn Bridge.

There are currently about 46,000 unvaccinated city employees who face termination if they do not get a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by the November 1 deadline.

“Due to a protest, all Manhattan-bound lanes of the Brooklyn Bridge are currently blocked. Expect delays and consider alternate routes,” the New York Police Department said in a statement.

According to footage on social media, thousands of city employees are peacefully marching across the Brooklyn Bridge chanting “Let’s Go Brandon,” which is an alternative to chanting “Fuck Joe Biden.”

The chant was born after NASCAR racer Brandon Brown recently won a race and during an interview with MSNBC after his win, the interviewer misinterpreted the fans’ derogatory chants about president Joe Biden by falsely claiming they were saying “Let’s go Brandon.”

Many protesters are carrying the US flag and others are holding up signs with messages opposing the vaccine mandate.

JFK’s nephews slam Biden administration after postponing assasinaton records

4

John F. Kennedy’s nephews are slamming the Biden administration’s decision to push back the scheduled release of JFK assassination records that remain sealed until late 2022. Kennedy family members say the secrecy needs to end.

The White House released a memorandum on Friday announcing that it would delay information in certain records related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy — a publication that was scheduled to be released this Tuesday.

JFKs nephews slam Biden news

The memo explains the continued postponement under statutory standard and the possibility of a longer postponement if the Biden administration deemed it necessary.

“It’s an outrage. It’s an outrage against American democracy. We’re not supposed to have secret governments within the government,” Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reportedly told POLITICO.

“How the hell is it 58 years later, and what in the world could justify not releasing these documents?”

Kennedy Jr.’s cousin, former US Representative from Rhode Island Patrick Kennedy, also criticized the decision, saying that the records should be released not because of his family, but because American citizens have a right to know about “something that left such a scar in this nation’s soul that lost not only a president but a promise of a brighter future.”

“I think for the good of the country, everything has to be put out there so there’s a greater understanding of our history,” he said.

Biden’s decision to hold back records that were set to be declassified in 2017, and postponed for four years by former President Donald Trump, creates a “tendency to distrust government in general,” according to Patrick Kennedy.

“We’re living in a time of a lot of conspiracy theories… there’s a whole lot of bureaucratic obfuscation. Every agency needs to exercise their own right to redact certain portions [of the records], which you know is what fuels the whole conspiracy theory.”

Kennedy Jr. allegedly agreed with his late father’s belief that his uncle was assassinated as part of a broader conspiracy.

The Biden administration recounted the “significant impact” of the COVID-19 pandemic as a cause for slowing down the process of reviewing whether redactions continue to meet the “statutory standard” — triggering the Kennedy nephews to comment on the prolonged release of the records.

In a written statement as part of the memo, the White House promised that the “public will have access to a tranche of previously withheld records and redacted information withheld in previously released records,” in a little over a year on December 15, 2022.

Watch: ‘I don’t take pictures with guys with painted nails’: Mayweather shuns photo op with male teen wearing nail varnish

0

Boxing great Floyd Mayweather disappointed one of his teenage fans who asked for a photograph during a recent basketball game, dismissing the youngster after noting that he had painted his nails black.

The undefeated boxing legend, who took on YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition match earlier this year, remains one of the world’s biggest sports stars despite retiring from professional boxing following his defeat of UFC fighter Conor McGregor in 2017.

But that perception may have changed, at least for one teenage fan, after he approached the boxer for a selfie during Saturday’s NBA fixture between the Clippers and the Grizzlies at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

“You got painted nails, I don’t take pictures with guys with no painted nails,” Mayweather can be heard saying in the video clip as the teenager was aggressively pushed away by a host of his entourage and bodyguards.

The fan in question was noticeably upset by the encounter, saying: “Floyd doesn’t want to take a picture with me because my nails are painted. Bruh, really?!”

According to TMZ, Mayweather had little issue in taking photographs with several other fight fans – but drew the line with this fan due to his manicure choices.

The young man, though, might well have gotten off a bit easier than another fan who asked for a photo with Mayweather in 2019 – after he later reported that he had allegedly been assaulted by Mayweather’s security staff.

Mayweather, who is 44, might just be a little bit out touch with 2021 fashion trends as painted nails have been noted on a wide array of rappers and musical stars such as Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, Yungblud and even Harry Styles.

The other element notable from the brief video clip is that Mayweather was seen inside the Staples Center without wearing a protective facemask – something which comes in direct contrast to the recently announced health and safety protocols governing the arena, where anyone inside the arena above the age of two must cover their mouths and noses.

Watch: ‘Mad scientists playing God’: Florida’s DeSantis calls for Fauci to be fired for ‘dangerous & cruel’ experiments on dogs

0

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has joined the chorus of US lawmakers lashing out at White House medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci for funding ‘hazardous’ virus research and ‘despicable’ experiments on dogs.

At issue are Fauci’s decisions as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), a unit of the National Institute of Health (NIH), to invest US taxpayer funds in gain-of-function research at China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, as well as allegedly cruel drug research using beagle puppies.

Calling the gain-of-function research “very hazardous” and “unethical,” DeSantis said Monday the US has to “shut that down,” adding, “You can’t have mad scientists running around playing God like this.”

Mad scientist Fauci news

And then come to find out what else is Fauci and NIH doing? They’re doing cruel experiments on puppies. What they were doing with those puppies is flat-out disgusting, it’s despicable. That needs to stop.

Members of Congress from both parties took a similar stand last week, demanding that Fauci explain why he has commissioned such testing and provide more details on NIAID-funded research using dogs. The lawmakers noted a line item in an invoice sent to the agency for “cordectomy,” a procedure in which the dogs’ vocal cords were slit to prevent them from barking or crying out in pain during the experiments.

“This is a reprehensible misuse of taxpayer funds,” the representatives said in a letter to Fauci.

The beagle research first came to light in August, when a watchdog group obtained government documents on the program. The group alleged such details as researchers drugging puppies and locking their heads in mesh cages so hungry sand flies could infect them with disease-causing parasites by devouring their faces.

“I cannot believe American tax dollars would go to treat those dogs the way those dogs are treated, and you know, I really think Fauci needs to be held accountable,” DeSantis said.

“These people, these bureaucrats, they don’t get to just run wild and do whatever the hell they want to with our tax dollars.”

Fauci, who ranks as the highest-paid employee in the federal government, oversees an NIAID budget that has risen to $6 billion annually. He repeatedly denied in congressional testimony that US-backed research in Wuhan involved gain-of-function. Last week, the NIH acknowledged otherwise, though it tried hard to maintain the distinction on a technicality.

Senator Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) has called for Fauci to be criminally investigated for lying to Congress. But even after the NIH’s admission, Fauci remained unrepentant, saying in an ABC News interview on Sunday that he hadn’t misled lawmakers and that it was “molecularly impossible” for the Covid-19 outbreak to have originated from that particular research that NIAID sponsored in Wuhan.

Meanwhile, Paul told Axios on HBO that Fauci should be fired “just for lack of judgment if nothing else.”

“He’s probably never going to admit that he lied. He’s going to continue to dissemble and try to work around the truth and massage the truth,” the senator added.

On Monday, DeSantis suggested that the firings shouldn’t end with Fauci. “From funding gain-of-function research to treating these puppies with really unimaginable cruelty, I think that [the] whole lot of them needs to be cleaned out,” he said. “We need to be standing up for the American taxpayer and doing things ethically and not doing things like gain-of-function research – and certainly not abusing puppies.”
