Rajasthan Royals’ 14-year-old sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi made history by becoming the youngest player to hit a century in men’s T20s, blasting a 35-ball hundred—the fastest by an Indian in IPL history—against Gujarat Titans.
Suryavanshi, who only turned 14 last month, hammered 101 off 38 balls, including seven fours and 11 sixes, helping the Royals chase down 210 with an eight-wicket win and ending their five-match losing streak.
His partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored 70 not out, overwhelmed Gujarat despite strong efforts from Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler.
Suryavanshi, who previously starred for India’s Under-19 team and Bihar’s Ranji side, continues to break records at an astonishing pace.
