The 2025 US Open will feature a record-breaking $90 million prize pool—the largest in tennis history—with $5 million awarded to each of the men’s and women’s singles champions, marking a 39% increase from last year.
Players eliminated in the first round will receive $110,000, while prize money in doubles has also surged, with winning teams in men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles receiving $1 million for the first time. The total purse reflects a 20% year-on-year rise and follows calls from top players for a greater share of Grand Slam revenues.
The tournament, running from 24 August to 7 September, will also provide $5 million in player support and boost qualifying tournament payouts by 10% to $8 million.
