After India collapsed to 125 all out, with only Abhishek Sharma’s 68 and Harshit Rana’s 35 offering resistance, Josh Hazlewood’s 3-13 dismantled the top order. Captain Mitchell Marsh powered Australia’s chase with 46 off 26 balls, sharing a 51-run opening stand with Travis Head.
Despite a brief middle-order wobble, the hosts sealed victory comfortably with 40 balls remaining. The next match takes place in Hobart on Sunday. The first match of the series in Canberra on Wednesday was abandoned due to rain.
