After taking a narrow 19–14 lead into halftime, Stephen Larkham’s side delivered a ruthless second-half performance built on counterattacking rugby and forward dominance.
Number eight Charlie Cale starred with two tries, while the visitors maintained composure despite a yellow card to lock Cadeyrn Neville. The Crusaders briefly threatened a comeback when Leicester Fainga’anuku crossed to cut the deficit to seven points with 12 minutes remaining, but the Brumbies responded emphatically.
