Chiefs run riot over Force in Tauranga

In a high-scoring and chaotic Anzac Day showdown in Tauranga, the Chiefs overwhelmed the Western Force 56-22, showcasing their attacking firepower and depth.

Eleven tries, multiple lead changes, and unexpected positional shifts made for an entertaining contest, highlighted by a controversial TMO decision and rapid-fire scoring after halftime.

Cortez Ratima’s double and a standout cameo from Wallace Sititi sealed the Chiefs’ dominance, while Harry Potter scored twice for the Force, including one from a quick restart that caught the Chiefs off guard.

The only concern for the home side was Anton Lienert-Brown leaving the field in a sling.
