Crystal Palace began their Conference League campaign in style, claiming a 0-2 victory over Dynamo Kyiv in Poland in what was their first ever match in the main phase of European competition.
Daniel Munoz opened the scoring with a looping header from Yeremy Pino’s cross before substitute Eddie Nketiah sealed the win just before the hour mark, again set up by Pino. Despite Borna Sosa’s late red card, Palace’s 3,500 travelling fans celebrated a historic first European away win and a new club record of 19 matches unbeaten across all competitions.
The performance underscored Oliver Glasner’s side’s growing confidence, while Dynamo Kyiv struggled to match their past European pedigree.
