Colombian winger Luis Diaz has completed a £65.5 million move from Liverpool to Bayern Munich, signing a four-year deal with the Bundesliga champions.
After rejecting an initial bid, Liverpool accepted Bayern’s improved offer, allowing Diaz to undergo a medical over the weekend.
The 28-year-old departs Anfield after three-and-a-half years, 148 appearances, and 41 goals, including a standout 17-goal season that helped Liverpool clinch the Premier League title last term.
Diaz, who will wear number 14 at Bayern, expressed his ambition to win “every possible trophy” with his new club.
