Fiji Rugby Sevens Olympic Medalist Josaia Raisuqe killed in train collision in France

Fijian rugby player and Olympic silver medalist Josaia Raisuqe has died at the age of 30 after his vehicle was struck by a train while en route to training, his French club Castres confirmed.

Raisuqe, a fan favourite, had been playing in France since 2015 and was instrumental in Fiji’s rugby sevens success at the Paris Olympics.

Details of the accident are yet to be released.
