Isle of Man TT rider killed during qualifying crash

Daniel Ingham has died following a crash during qualifying for the 2026 Isle of Man TT races, organisers have confirmed.

The 33-year-old rider from Leicestershire was involved in an incident at Doran’s Bend on the opening lap of Wednesday evening’s session.

Ingham, a respected figure in road racing, had competed regularly on the Mountain Course since 2016 and claimed victory in the 2024 Manx Grand Prix Senior race before making his TT debut this year. His death comes amid a troubled opening week for the event, which has also seen several major crashes, injuries to spectators and competitors, and the suspension of the sidecar class following another serious incident.
