Jesse Bromwich to join 300 club

Jessee Bromwich news

The National Rugby League (NRL) has congratulated Dolphins captain Jesse Bromwich on reaching the 300-game milestone.

Bromwich will on Saturday become the 46th player to play 300 matches. He will bring up the milestone at WIN Stadium against St George Illawarra.

Bromwich played 295 matches for Melbourne Storm, and has now played four matches as Captain with new Club the Dolphins.

NRL CEO Andrew Abdo will lead the traditional presentation of the 300-game match ball after the match to celebrate the achievement.

“Jesse is an outstanding player and leader,” Mr Abdo said.

“Jesse has played every single match in the front row – an incredible 277 matches as a starting prop and 22 matches from the interchange bench. Only one player has started more games as a prop.

“He had a wonderful career with the Storm and will forever have the honour of leading the first ever Dolphins team onto an NRL field.

“On behalf of the rugby league community I congratulate Jesse on achieving this important milestone.”
