Madison Keys delivered a stunning comeback to defeat world number two Iga Swiatek 5-7, 6-1, 7-6 (10-8), saving a match point to secure a place in the Australian Open final against two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka.
Swiatek, who had dominated the tournament with minimal dropped games, served for the match at 6-5 in the third set but faltered under pressure as Keys broke back and prevailed in a nail-biting tie-break.
Meanwhile, Sabalenka powered past close friend Paula Badosa 6-4, 6-2, extending her unbeaten streak at Melbourne Park to 20 matches as she chases a historic third consecutive title.
With Sabalenka retaining her world number one ranking and Keys making her best Australian Open run, the final promises an explosive showdown.
