Leeds United have secured Switzerland striker Noah Okafor from AC Milan for £18m on a four-year deal, marking their ninth signing of the summer following promotion to the Premier League.
The 25-year-old, who previously played for Basel, RB Salzburg, and Napoli, said joining the Premier League was a “dream come true” and praised the league’s intensity.
His arrival pushes Premier League clubs’ spending to a record £2.37bn this summer, surpassing last year’s record outlay.
