Macarthur earned a shock 1-2 win over Auckland at Go Media Stadium, stamping their dominance early and taking the lead after 10 minutes through Rafael Durán before doubling it before half time thanks to a crushing header from Tomislav Uskok.
The visitors controlled the opening stages with the bulk of possession and continued to press, while Auckland struggled to respond despite forcing a few saves.
Macarthur could have extended their lead further but missed key chances, and although Auckland pulled one back in stoppage time when Jake Girdwood-Reich nodded home from close range, they were unable to claw their way back into the game as the Bulls held on for an impressive win to climb to sixth on the Isuzu UTE A-League ladder.
