Man City surge blows title race open

Manchester City reignited the Premier League title fight with a ruthless second-half burst, scoring three times in 17 minutes to dismantle Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and close to within six points of leaders Arsenal.

After a flat opening where Chelsea looked sharper, Pep Guardiola’s side emerged with intensity and cut through the hosts with ease, as Nico O’Reilly, Marc Guehi and Jeremy Doku all struck in quick succession.

The win, City’s first in the league since February, lifts momentum ahead of a looming showdown with Arsenal—who are juggling European commitments—while Chelsea’s hopes of Champions League qualification take a significant hit as they remain outside the top five.
