Moorby scores four as Hurricanes dispatch Moana Pasifika

Hurricanes winger Josh Moorby produced a dominant display with four tries in a commanding 50-17 Super Rugby Pacific victory over Moana Pasifika at a rain-soaked North Harbour Stadium.

Moorby crossed in both halves to lead the Hurricanes to their ninth win from 11 matches, helping extend their lead at the top of the standings. While fellow winger Fehi Fineanganofo was unable to add to his season tally, Moana Pasifika remained competitive early and trailed just 19-5 at halftime before fading after the break.

Winger Tuna Tuitama provided the home side’s standout moments with two tries, but the Hurricanes pulled away in the second half to secure a bonus-point win ahead of next week’s clash with the Blues.
