New Zealand Rugby (NZR) has announced a major multi-year partnership with global firm Gallagher Insurance, naming the company the Official Insurance Broker of NZR.
The deal was revealed at a special launch event at the All Blacks Experience in Auckland today.
Under the agreement, Gallagher’s branding will appear on the training and match day shorts of all NZR national teams, including the All Blacks, Black Ferns, Māori All Blacks, and Sevens squads. The partnership also includes fan engagement initiatives and a prominent role in delivering All Blacks Clinics and matchday experiences worldwide.
NZR CEO Mark Robinson praised the partnership as a key step in the organisation’s global strategy, saying it reflects “the scale, ambition and passion for rugby” shared by both entities. Gallagher’s Chief Marketing Officer, Christopher Mead, highlighted the company’s belief in sport as a vehicle for community-building and leadership.
Further reinforcing its commitment, Gallagher has appointed All Blacks star Beauden Barrett as a global ambassador and will sponsor NZ referees’ jerseys across domestic competitions from 2026.
